Shady treats colour as part of the specification, not as decoration. Every colourway in the line is photographed on its own — never a recoloured copy of another shot — and the name of a shade stays the same from the product page to your order.

The company was formed in 2026. There is no mill behind it and no archive. What we commit to is what the page shows.

A shade has a name so you can ask for it again. The colour you choose on a product page is carried by that name into the bag, the checkout and the confirmation email, so there is never a moment where “the dark one” has to be guessed at.

We will not promise that the colour on your screen matches the cloth exactly. Every screen renders colour differently, and a promise nobody can keep is not a promise. What we can promise is a separate photograph for every shade we sell.

Each page carries the cloth weight in gsm, the pile height, the webbing width or the rib — the figures that decide how a garment wears. “Heavyweight” is not a weight, and “cosy” is not a measurement.

We carry five pieces across three categories: tees and henleys, outerwear, and accessories. Each comes in two shades. A short line is easier to photograph honestly and easier to keep in stock in every shade we publish.

We will not claim a history we do not have. No founding decade, no inherited lineage.

We will not print a review we did not receive. Where a product has no reviews the page says so and shows the form.

We will not describe a fabric as sustainable, ethical or responsible without a document to hand you. We do not have those documents, so we do not use those words.

We take cash on delivery: you pay the courier when the parcel arrives, and nothing is charged when you place the order. Please make sure the phone number you give us is one the courier can reach.

Orders are picked, packed and handed to the carrier in 1–2 business days on every shipping method. The full table is on the Shipping Policy page.
